What a session with me feels like…
This season of your life is so full of transition. Whether it be a maternity shoot that celebrates your growing bump+bond with your sweet baby or a newborn session that gets to the heart of weeping for joy and sleep deprivation and that smile that has absolutely rocked your world. This life of loving a child is all consuming and I want to document it so you can look back and remember how tiny they were when you were too tired to really appreciate it fully, how beautiful you looked with your pre-baby glow of anticipation, how full your heart felt in the moments when you got to just sit and stare at this new human.
A maternity session with me can look like whatever you have envisioned- power to you, let’s make it happen. Or, if you don’t just sit and think about photography all day (pssh- who does that?? it’s me, I do that) we can brainstorm to find something that is so truly you. Whether you want a field and flowy dress, an in home session, a sun filled studio- whatever you feel will encapsulate you and your journey with motherhood I’m right there, Chica. Hyping you up, cheering you on, empowering you to embrace the woman you already are and the mother you are discovering within you.
On the other hand, a newborn session will be determined by your baby. Padded with extra time for meltdowns or feedings every five minutes as you and small human learn to do life together (or life in general cause that baby is figuring all of this out for the very first time). I refuse to stress you or your sweet one out with poses or expectations, instead allowing the session to unfold as your baby needs it to. We’ll adjust according to them and it will be a gracious, low-expectation, chill experience that will leave you with pictures of this season that goes by so so quickly.

Maternity + Newborn Packages start at $200 and cover a range of services:
30 minutes - 2 hrs depending on your growing family’s specific needs.
A phone call before your session to chat and get to know each other/brainstorm a vision
Sneak peeks no later than 2 days after your session
A range of 30-150 edited images depending on your package. I am a chronic over-shooter and then I don’t know how to scrap any photos that might mean something to you- so depending on your package- you’ll get to see all of those images.
A gentle, calm, experienced human who has so much grace for the transition your family is in right now.

Just the two of you...
These may be the last photos you and your honey get just the two of you for a while. Kiddos are pretty all consuming and if the money is being spent to document your lives it’s going to make sense to include your sweet younglings. But having photos to look back on to remember this season and it’s joy and sweetness and that feeling of anticipation will be priceless. Both to you and the kiddos who will eventually call you their safe place.

Documenting your honey falling in love with your kiddo...
In that first crush of having a small being and trying to keep it alive some of the most precious moments might get lost in the fog. My goal is to create images that capture the authentic wonder and struggle and love that exists within your new, little family ecosystem. Images that you can look back on when your brain is less sleep deprived and marvel at how beautiful your life is.

They grow....
Kids grow so quickly. It’s a universally known fact that you blink and they’re 18 driving to college (or so I’ve heard from my parents a time or two). Having photos of these first few weeks/months of your sweet baby’s life will transcend the years so you can look back on their tiny toes before their shoe size was bigger than yours or how their little body fit so snuggly into the crook of your arm. Hopefully, freeing you up to love them through all the seasons of their life- knowing you have photos to transport you back when you need to revisit the time in your life that was so intimately marked by the newness of theirs.
