What a session with me feels like…
Your family is precious and ever changing. Documenting where you’re at in this season both as individuals and as a unit is my utmost joy. Not through stiff smiles and awkward “say cheese” moments but by creating a space where your family can feel free to be themselves. Including all the mess, chaos, happy tears, snuggles, and genuine laughter. I want you to look back on this session in years to come and be reminded of what your life really felt like in this season. How your baby boy used to fit on your hip even after he’s grown taller than you are, how your daughter used to dance in her favorite dress, or how your whole family still smiles with their eyes- and maybe how the important things haven’t changed as much as they might have seemed.
Coming from a background heavy with babysitting and working with students of all ages, I take a child centered approach to my family sessions. Focusing on getting the kids to genuinely relax and act themselves is the main priority. This includes (depending on age of course) lots of play; music; sometimes marshmallows; regular, natural prompting that they can make their own; and asking for ‘help’ as we progress through our session. My hope is that once the kiddos relax then the adults can start enjoying themselves too. Celebrating the beauty of their lives with the humans they’ve chosen to love.

Family Packages start at $200 and cover a range of services:
30 minutes - 1.5 hrs depending on your family’s specific needs
A phone call before your session to chat and get to know each other/brainstorm a vision
Sneak peeks no later than 2 days after your session
A range of 30-150 images depending on your package. I am a chronic over-shooter and then I don’t know how to scrap any photos that might mean something to you- so depending on your package- you’ll get to see all of those images.
